Our team is growing and we are delighted to welcome on board Sarah Ferguson to assist Wellington Manager, Miriam Wilkins, in our Wellington office, and Nihal Fernandez, who takes on the specialist role of Sponsorship and Exhibition Manager for the whole company, based in Auckland.
Nihal Fernandez
Prior to joining us, Nihal spent five years holding key positions in Dubai conference companies, IQPC and Naseba Communications. Dealing with multinationals in both, Nihal serviced the sponsorship and exhibition client portfolio, identifying and closing sponsorship opportunities, looking after the sponsor relationship from the beginning of the project right through till its conclusion. In his time at IQPC and prior to arriving in New Zealand, Nihal Nihal generated phenomenal sales for conferences with packages ranging from a modest contribution to principal sponsorship.
Nihal’s role at The Conference Company is similar. He is tasked with generating the sponsorship and exhibition sales for our conferences, working closely with our clients to meet their objectives. Nihal will keep in close touch with all sponsors and exhibitors for the duration of their participation, making sure that they are well satisfied with their investment and that they will be pleased to look at future opportunities as they arise.
Sarah Ferguson
Sarah Ferguson is determined and strong minded with a flair for detail. .
Sarah’s previous experience just prior to joining us include Delivery Suite Non-Clinical Coordinator with the Capital Coast District Health Board and teaching English at Hanoi’s Language Link Vietnam, the country’s key foreign language learning bureau. A native of Wellington, Sarah cut her leadership teeth as leader of her Outward Bound team.
